5 tips for lowcost travel for millennials

You want to travel but unfortunately you don't either have the time or money for taking long trips, staying in luxury hotels or going far far away from home. Don't worry! Because here we give you and your friends advice for travelling on a budget

1. Take a day trip. Long vacations seem to be something from the past, now the time is limited and responsabilities force us to take shorter vacations (even if it's only one day)
Fortunately, one day off of work for exploring could give us the freedom that we need. Hop on the bus or the train for a relatively cheap price, and enjoy a day off in a fun location.

2. Schedule smart. Even if it's sound boring and unnecessarily, scheduling and looking through different offers could save us a lot of money!
Nowadays we have tools like Skyscanner that help us to look for the best prices and times for taking our vacations and going out!

3. Check for alternatives. You don't have to buy the first option that you see. It’s important to always compare rates and deals when figuring out your options. Maybe you can find an offer that will save you a lot of money!

4. House-sit and coach surfing. Hotels can be very expensive nowadays. Travelling abroad and staying in a friend's house is waaay more cheaper! Also, alternatives as couch surfing are very popular nowadays because you meet new people and your wallet will aprecciate it!

5. Road trip. Planes and trains can be expensive and boring. Try new forms of trips like a road trip! You have stay with your friends in a car for a few hours but the reward at the destination is worth the car ride!
